Marte is our Bretsa Star

We've not celebrated a Bretsa star in a little while, but this month we had to celebrate Marte! Marte is an experienced nursery assistant who joined us just over 6 months ago. Based in south east London, Marte has worked at a variety of private day nurseries and community nurseries in south London. Nursery managers regularly ask for Marte by name and feedback is awesome. Here is Sharon from our office presenting Marte with her Bretsa Star certificate and flowers - thank you Marte!

Skies over #Bretsa Towers in #greenwich

At lunchtime today the sky over the office was incredibly busy and frankly glorious. Had to share this picture with you.

Olympic Greenwich

Well the Olympics have come and gone - and frankly we're sad at Bretsa towers. It seemed almost surreal that they were happening after 7 long years of build up. Then it seemed even more surreal that they ended in what felt like such a short space of time. Around our offices in the heart of Greenwich we could see the tens of thousands of spectators, the hundreds of games makers, army, navy, police - you name it - there is still even an aircraft carrier based here! We're looking forward to the Paralympics with equal enthusiasm - it's going to be amazing. If you visit Greenwich in the next few weeks or for any of the events happening here make sure you stop by the market for great food, drinks and gifts.

Bretsa e-Finance is Coming

We've taken a new big step in how we run our finance here at Bretsa. We've always been green and used recycled paper and envelopes, but now we're stopping our paper use altogether. Over the next few weeks we'll shifting our payroll and invoicing systems over to email. The first stage is payroll and is already in process - thank you to everyone who has confirmed your email and preferred password. For those who haven't please get this done ASAP! The second stage is invoicing and is a few weeks away. We'll be touch with all clients over the coming weeks to discuss how it all works. Of course, whether you're a client nursery or school, or a member of our team, please feel free to call the office on 020 8858 5958 and we'll run through any questions you may have. Sadeta is a Bretsa Star

The first 3 months of 2012 have been amazingly busy!

We've had new clients join, old clients come back, and more nursery staff out working than ever before.

Someone who's helped us week in week out has been Sadeta Bojaj.

Sadeta is a level 2 Nursery Assistant from West London who joined us in April 2011. Since then Sadeta has worked at a lot of our nursery clients across west and north west London, even up to Watford and Hounslow at times!

Sadeta is requested by name from lots of clients, is punctual, cheerful and professional.

It's on the application forms, we talk about it in interviews and in our marketing but it seems that people still forget that there's £100 in vouchers up for grabs for referring friends!

To qualify for £100 vouchers for either John Lewis or TopShop you need to refer someone who is:

+ qualified to minimum level 2 or 3 in early years
+ successfully passes our competency based face to face interview
+ have great references
+ works over 100 hours for us

John popped down to see our lovely level 3 Emma at her regular nursery placement yesterday. Here she is receiving £100 in Top Shop vouchers for referring her friend Stevie.
